During the initial phases of developing our skincare app, we acknowledged the necessity of comprehending the varied skincare needs and challenges encountered by our target demographic. To gain comprehensive insights, we engaged in user research that included interviews and surveys with potential users aged 18 to 45, representing a diverse array of skin types, concerns, and lifestyles. Our primary objective was to identify common skincare routines, prevalent skin issues, and the level of skincare knowledge within our audience. This methodology enabled us to reveal significant pain points, such as the confusion surrounding the selection of appropriate products for specific skin types.

The insights gathered played a crucial role in informing the app's features, such as a personalized skincare routine builder, detailed product information, and a community forum for sharing tips and advice. This user-focused strategy ensured that our app was designed to address the genuine needs and preferences of our users, laying a robust foundation for the creation of a solution that is both practical and engaging for our target audience.
